This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which Kent Health Systems collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the www.KentHealth.com website (“Site”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by Kent Health Systems.

 

Personal identification information

 

We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site, place an order, fill out a form, respond to a survey, subscribe to the newsletter, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information,

Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously.

We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.

 

Non-personal identification information

 

We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

 

Web browser cookies

 

Our Site may use “cookies” to enhance User experience. User’s web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the Site may not function properly. Our Site uses third-party cookies by from the likes of Google Analytics to gather data as explained below. We do not combine first- and third- party cookies for the purposes of identifying users or facilitating the merging of personally identifiable information with non-personally identifiable information.

 

How we use collected information

Kent Health Systems collects and uses Users personal information for the following purposes:

  • To improve customer service
    Your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs.
  • To personalize user experience
    We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site.
  • To improve our Site
    We continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you.
  • To process transactions
    We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
  • To administer a content, promotion, survey or other Site feature
    To send Users information they agreed to receive about topics we think will be of interest to them.
  • To send periodic emailsThe email address Users provide for order processing, will only be used to send them information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, and/or other requests or questions. If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or User may contact us via our Site.
  • To inform advertising efforts
    To implement and measure our digital advertising campaigns, including Remarketing with Google Analytics, Google Display Network Impression Reporting, Google Analytics Demographics and Interest Reporting, and Integrated services that require Google Analytics to collect data for advertising purposes, including the collection of data via advertising cookies and identifiers. You can opt-out of the Google Analytics Advertising Features through Google Analytics’ currently available opt-outs.

 

 

How we protect your information

 

We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.

Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.

Sharing your personal information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Users personal identification information to others. We may share generic aggregated demographic information not linked to any personal identification information regarding visitors and users with our business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.We may use third party service providers to help us operate our business and the Site or administer activities on our behalf, such as sending out newsletters or surveys. We may share your information with these third parties for those limited purposes provided that you have given us your permission.

Third party websites

Users may find advertising or other content on our Site that link to the sites and services of our partners, suppliers, advertisers, sponsors, licensors and other third parties. We do not control the content or links that appear on these sites and are not responsible for the practices employed by websites linked to or from our Site. In addition, these sites or services, including their content and links, may be constantly changing. These sites and services may have their own privacy policies and customer service policies. Browsing and interaction on any other website, including websites which have a link to our Site, is subject to that website\’s own terms and policies.

Returns and Exchange Policy

You may return products to receive a prompt, courteous refund or exchange within 14 days of delivery of products. Products returned after 14 days are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returns or exchanges over 30 days will not be processed.

Product must be in new condition, the original un-opened packaging and appropriate for resale. Only one opened package of any product or similar product is eligible for return. All others of the same or similar product(s) must be in the original un-opened packaging for refund. Online courses are not refundable once access is granted.

You must receive a Return Authorization Number (RA#) from Kent Health Systems prior to sending your return. Items returned without a RA# printed on the outside of the shipping box will not be received or returned to the customer.

Shipping and insurance fees for products returned and or exchanged are the responsibility of the customer.

To return or exchange your product:

1. Inspect your return. Make sure that all items are un-opened and in the original packaging.

2. Contact Kent Health Systems customer service at 386.574.5600 to receive a Return Authorization Number (RA#). You MUST write the RA# on the outside of the shipping box. Include a copy of your invoice or packing slip in the return. This expedites the return process.

3. Package your return in the original or a sturdy carton and properly cushioned to ensure no damage upon return shipment. If items are received damaged there will be no credit issued.

4. Send returns with tracking and insured via United States Postal Service USPS, United Parcel Service UPS or Federal Express FedEx addressed to:

Please keep a record of the shipment until you have received credit or replacement merchandise.

Parcel Shipping

Parcel Shipping orders are shipped directly to your location. Orders received by noon 12:00pm Eastern Time EST on business days (Monday through Friday, excluding holidays) are packed and shipped the same day. Items ordered after noon 12:00pm Eastern Time EST will ship the following business day. All orders will be processed within 24 hours.

We currently offer three parcel shipping options:

Standard: Your order is delivered to your shipping address three to seven business days after processing within the continental united states. Allow additional time for parcels shipped to locations outside of the continental united states.

Two Business Day: Your order is delivered to your shipping address two business days after it has been processed. For orders placed during the weekend, allow one business day for processing and two business days for delivery.

Next Business Day: Your order is delivered to your shipping address the next business day after it has been processed. For orders placed during the weekend, allow one business day for processing and one business day for delivery. Items ordered after noon ET will not ship until the following business day.

Customs and duty taxes

Customs and duty taxes are the responsibility of the User.

Seminar Registration

Payments: All payments must be in the form of United States funds, drawn from a United States bank. Checks and money orders must be made payable to David Kent Seminars / Kent Health Systems, Inc.. Credit card payments will be charged by David Kent Seminars / Kent Health Systems, Inc..

When paying by credit card all remaining tuition payment(s) will be “auto-charged” at a predetermined interval and upon request you will be emailed a receipt.

If you decline to have your credit card “auto-charged”, you accept responsibility to contact the seminar office to make payment(s) by credit card or mail your check / money order. Please note there is a fee for late payment(s) and payment(s) must be received in our office on or before the payment due date(s).

Returned Check Fees: Any returned checks will be assessed a $45 Returned Check Fee. Once a check is returned to our office all future payments plus the Returned Check Fee must be paid by credit card or money order.

Late Payment Fee: Regardless of the reason, any payment not received at the seminar office on or before the payment due date will be accessed a $50 late fee. If the payment plus late fee are not received within 5 days after the due date, the seminar office has the option of considering this action notice of cancellation and can remove the registrant from the class roster. Should the seminar office exercise this option, terms outlined in the section entitled Administration and Cancellation Fee Schedule will take effect.

Notice of cancellation: Notice of cancellation must be in writing and sent United Parcel Service (UPS), Federal Express (Fed-Ex) or Certified Mail Return Receipt via United States Postal Service to: David Kent Seminars, 840 Deltona Blvd., Suite L, Deltona, Florida 32725. Notice is the day your written notice of cancellation is received at the seminar office. Regular mail, phone calls and/or faxes will not be accepted as notice.

Payments that are not received within 5 days after the due date or late payments that do not include a late payment fee can be considered notice of cancellation by the seminar office. Should the seminar office exercise this option, terms outlined in the section entitled Administration and Cancellation Fee Schedule will take effect.

Substitution and Transfer: If you are unable to attend any portion of the seminar for any reason, no other person may attend in your place at that time. However, if you are unable to attend the entire seminar you may transfer your tuition to another person. Regardless of the reason a $100 transfer / administration fee will be assessed. In fairness to others there will be no exceptions regardless of the time of the substitution cancellation. A Tuition Transfer Form must be completed, and the transfer fee must be included, and both must be sent UPS, Fed-X or Certified Mail Return Receipt via United States Postal Service to: David Kent Seminars, 840 Deltona Blvd., Suite L, Deltona, FL 32725. Transfers must be made no later than 14 days before the first day of the registered seminar.

Administration and Cancellation Fee Schedule: The following fees apply for each canceling student. In fairness to others there will be no exceptions Regardless of the reason or time of the cancellation, the below schedule is applicable:

A $500 nonrefundable fee will apply to all cancellations.

A person may transfer their tuition, in its entirety, to the next available seminar as long as the request is made ten weeks (70 days) or more prior to the first day of class for which the tuition was originally applied. The entire tuition becomes non-refundable in the event of a second cancellation, regardless of the time of the cancellation. If the price of tuition increases, the attendee will be responsible to pay the difference on or before the date the final payment is due.

Cancellations made eight weeks (56 days) or more prior to the first day of class = a refund of ½ (one-half) of tuition.

Cancellations made 55 days or less prior to the first day of class = forfeits all tuition and it becomes non-transferable.

Student Conduct: To insure the safety of other students and quality of the learning experience for all present, any student that does not follow the directions of the instructor and/or any teaching assistant, or is disrespectful of the bequeathed and/or other students, or is careless and/or reckless in the use of any dissection instruments and/or bringing any photo or video equipment, including cell phones, into the lab will be dismissed from the seminar/dissection laboratory and will not be allowed to
re-enter as well as the full forfeit of their tuition.

Video / Photos: Student grants Kent Health Systems, Inc., and/or David Kent Seminars, and/or David C. Kent and their assigns, licensees and legal representatives the irrevocable right to use my name, picture, portrait, photograph, video, audio in all forms and media and in all manners, including composite or distorted representations, for advertising, trade or any other lawful purposes, and student waives any right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written copy, that may be created in connection therewith. No claim of any kind will be made by student. No representations have been made to student.

Seminar Cancellation: In the unfortunate event the seminar is canceled, Kent Health Systems and or David Kent Seminars has the option to reschedule the seminar or refund the tuition paid by the registered student. Kent Health Systems, Inc, and or David Kent Seminars and or David C Kent is held harmless of any and all liability for any reason including expenses such as plane tickets, accommodations, car rental, lost wages, etc.

 

Changes to this privacy policy

Kent Health Systems has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Your acceptance of these terms

 

By using this Site, you signify your acceptance of this policy and terms of service. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.
